The articles presented in the Permanent Forum’s publication, the Letter to Friends Around the World, have two focuses. First, they often relate specific situations experienced by individuals or groups working to end extreme poverty, as well as their courage and efforts. Secondly, they describe initiatives that have been put in place, even with very limited means. What’s important is shedding light on, and giving recognition to the efforts that have been made. The Letter to Friends exists in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Two issues were also published in Arabic.May We Dare Work Toward Justice And Peace!

Dare to meet each other! This is what all of us have been doing through marking the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. There were more than 250 events which took place in over 43 countries around the world. You can find out more about these events on the Forum’s website (www.overcomingpoverty.org).
