Valerie is eighteen, and has lived in Geneva all her life. Since she was a baby, she has lived with her father who is in poor health. Much too young, she had to learn to take on enormous responsibilities and understand why it was too hard for her mother to stay with them.

What You Can Do To Get Involved This Summer

There are many opportunities for volunteering within ATD Fourth World, both working directly with families living in poverty or supporting those who do. ATD Fourth World UK can offer exciting possibilities for those that wish to get involved this summer.
